No.

Hormone therapy, medical weight loss, peptide therapy, IV therapy, and HBOT are all available without a membership. Direct Primary Care membership is a separate option for patients who want ongoing primary care integrated with their optimization programs — not a requirement to start any program.

Do you accept insurance?

We operate outside of insurance for our optimization programs — direct billing, no copays, no prior authorizations, no surprise charges.

HSA and FSA funds are typically applicable. We can provide documentation for out-of-network reimbursement if your plan covers it. DPC membership is also billed directly at a flat monthly rate.

Is care here in-person or can I do telehealth?

All care at Lake Avenue Wellness is in-person at our Wilmette clinic. We don’t operate a telehealth prescription model. In-person care is how we maintain the clinical standards — physician oversight, in-office injections, lab draws on-site — that make our programs work.
